Finding The (Not-So) Elusive Groove
If there’s one thing I think we all want to find as entrepreneurs…it’s the groove.
That sweet spot in your business where it’s operating efficiently and effectively without you needing to be involved in every single detail or task, leaving you the space and time to go after what you truly desire (whatever that might be!).
The Hustle And Grind
The other week, I hopped on a monthly check in call with a team member and she was telling me how the day before she had met with my OBM to discuss adjusting her schedule and ensuring client work would not be affected. I had no idea that they had met or that they had built this plan and put new processes in place.
It gave me pure joy (there were definitely tears involved). My business is having processes implemented and clients taken care of without me needing to be involved in every detail…we’d found it.
The groove.
And it’s funny because often we think we have to go hard to find it. We’re taught to hustle. We’re taught to push and push and push some more. We’re taught to become overachievers. We’re taught to chase 7 figures.
But that’s now how it happens. I didn’t find that happy place because I’d gone balls the walls hard on my business recently.
Slowing Down
I found it because I’d done the opposite. I’d chased a slower pace, inner peace, ease and a yearly income that made me happy. I’d chased joy and happiness. I’d looked inwards and reflected.
I’d take the foot off the gas and there it was.
Today I encourage you to release that pedal, even if it’s just slightly, and take some time to yourself to chase what you really want.
And I guarantee you, the groove will come.
