How To Get The Most Out Of Summer (And Smash The Rest Of The Year!)

Well, here we are in August.

I’m not sure about you but summer is my favourite time of the year. Here in Vancouver, the hot weather means patios, beach time, wine touring and an increased social calendar! And as a business owner…it means goal-setting season!

Here are my top four tips to set yourself up for a successful last month of summer and smash the rest of the year!

Adopt A Success Mindset

It doesn’t matter how many goals you have, how many resources are at your fingertips or how many automations you’ve optimized. They won’t mean anything if you don’t live in a success mindset.

Wake up every day and remind yourself of the success you deserve. Build the back end of your business for success. And chase your dreams with the mentality that success is inevitable.

Audit Your Goals

You set these incredible goals at the start of the year but have you taken time to stop and review them? To say goodbye to what no longer serves you and hello to the things you truly desire?

Goals are meant to be fluid!! They are meant to ebb and flow as you pivot and adjust and build the life you want! So take 15 minutes this week to review your goals, adjust them for where you are and where you want to be at the end of 2021 and then go crush them!

Celebrate Everything⠀

Celebrate every win, every triumph, every challenge and every milestone (no matter how big or small!). When we celebrate all we have to be thankful for and all that we have accomplished, we attract more abundance and greatness and success and things we desire.

Stop Saying Yes (To Sh*t You Hate)

No one is served by you saying yes to every single thing. Adopt a “no” mindset to things that don’t fill up your happy cup, negativity, unhealthy relationships, the critic in your mind (mine’s named Cruella) and anything that doesn’t contribute to building the business and life you desire!

If you want to set yourself and your business up for success you have to be in the business of saying no. Set boundaries, stick to them and gain the freedom you desire.

B taking a good look at what you’ve achieved so far this year and what you still want to achieve for the remainder of 2021, putting boundaries in place and celebrating the sh*t out of yourself, you’ll be setting yourself up to absolutely smash the rest of year!

You got this!
