Next Level You Is Waiting

AKVA Next Level You.png

I've spent the last week sending out countless rate increase letters to my clients. It was just time.

I spend so much of my time and energy growing my business's systems, the level of support I offer and refining our processes as I go along. So it's safe to say that AKVA has only gotten better over time.

But if I am being honest, I was terrified each time I drafted a new email and prepared to hit send.

And by terrified, I mean I almost puked every single time I heard that little swoosh that my email was on its way to my client.

This fear brought up so many negative thoughts that I almost talked myself out of raising my rates altogether.

Do you know what's so funny?

No matter how much internal work I've done, all the countless gratitude journaling sessions and the number of positive affirmations taped around my house, and I'm still astounded at my ability to doubt myself at this level still.

Even though I'm successful, I still doubt myself.

After I sent all of the emails off, I was overwhelmed by loud, recurring thoughts of whether my clients would balk at the increase, cancel their retainers, or wouldn't blink an eye at the rates because they knew the value that my business provides for them.

But you know what happened every single time?

They willingly accepted the new rates

The best way I can describe my negative talk is that she's a fancy, condescending, evil version of myself - think Cruella Deville without a jacket made of puppies.

And don't get me wrong. I'm confident in the breadth of services we provide and the elite level of support our clients receive.

Yet Cruella still wanted to intervene and make me doubt my greatness. But you know what I've discovered?

Uplevels support uplevels.

When my clients grow because of our services, my business, in turn, grows right along with theirs.

It wasn't until one client responded, "Got the rate increase letter, no problem at all, proud of you!" that I realized that my uplevel is the greatest form of support I could give to their uplevel.

And that by truly stepping into and owning the next stage of AK/VA (including higher rates), I can then provide them with the most impactful level of service.

I just wanted to remind you that if you are afraid to ask for that rate increase from your clients, you will never get it.

It's time to realize that your bank account can grow right along with your business.

Don't be afraid of those doubts that come up every time you ask for what you deserve.

The next-level version of yourself is waiting for you to show up.
