Springing Into A New Month
Well, we’re into March, and I can’t believe it’s almost Spring! While it doesn’t officially start for another few weeks, there’s no better time to do some auditing and give your biz a spring clean to set yourself up for incredible success for the rest of the year.
Here are my top four tips to get your biz ready to smash your goals:
Appreciate Your Customers
They are the most valuable and important aspect of your business, and without them, there wouldn’t even be a business. Take time this month to listen to them and appreciate them. Here are some suggestions for how you can tune into your customers and show ‘em some love:
Send out a client survey.⠀
Review current industry standards.⠀
Send your clients a quarterly gift.⠀
Reach out to potential clients (if you don’t ask, it’ll never happen).⠀
Once you know how your clients feel, where their pain points exist, and what you can do to better serve them, you can get to planning successful future quarters!
Optimize Your Processes⠀
Most of your processes are most likely already digital and online (if you’ve still got a process, there’s any paper- get rid of it!), but it’s always worth take a look and see if any part of your processes can be updated or improved. By taking a simple audit of your current processes, taking note of areas that may be improved, and then implementing those changes, you’ll be able to save yourself time and potentially money down the track! Remember, if you decide to switch to new programs or processes, make sure they will optimize your business. Their purpose should be to work for you, not against you.
Backup, backup, backup.⠀
Can you imagine starting your computer only to find that your hard drive has crashed and you’ve lost all of your files? Imagine the nightmare. If you’ve been operating from the point of believing that this won’t happen to you, it’s time to snap out of it! While we can’t control how technology always works or when a crash might occur, we can control how we manage our data. It’s a simple process. Buy an external hard drive and take 15 minutes once a month to backup your data, then lock your hard drive away, and voila! You can stop worrying about the next fatal crash and start focusing on what you want to!
